Changes to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms

In January, Adobe announced changes to licensing for shared environments, such as labs and classrooms. Beginning with the 2019 version of Creative Cloud, to use an app deployed on a shared device, users need to sign in with an existing or new Adobe ID.
Starting in September, you'll need to sign in with an Adobe ID to use Creative Cloud apps in our labs and classrooms.
Creative Cloud apps will only open after a successful sign-in. One sign-in to Creative Cloud unlocks access to all apps. The apps will prompt you periodically to stay signed in. If your existing Adobe ID includes a Creative Cloud subscription plan, sign in will not count towards your device activation limit.

Go to account.adobe.com, and then select Get an Adobe ID.
Note
Shared device licensing is not available for virtual desktops. Westphal's virtual Windows desktop will remain on the 2018 version of Creative Cloud. Sign in is not required for the Creative Cloud apps on the virtual desktop. To open a document in CC 2018 created in CC 2019 or later, you may need to save backwards for previous versions.
