Drexel Interior Architecture student Pooja Kalavagunta was awarded second place in the IIDA Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware chapter’s Student Design Competition. IIDA’s annual showcase recognizes and promotes talented students who are also IIDA members. Participants are asked to refine and submit work which they have completed as part of their university studio coursework. Kalavagunta’s submission was a center for Afghan refugees that she designed in the graduate Community Studio course.
