Alum in the House of Fame

May 4, 2015

Music Industry graduate Eric Hahn recently received the Young Alumni Entrepreneur Award for his work at Fame House, a rapidly growing global agency that takes a disruptive and innovative approach to the evolving digital marketing landscape. Hahn is Chief Marketing Officer at Fame House, which was founded by Michael Fiebach in 2011. He was the start-up’s first full time hire, joining the agency as Marketing Manager and later serving as Marketing and Creative Director and Partner. Fame House’s client roster has grown rapidly to include artists such as Maroon 5, Pearl Jam, DJ Shadow and Josh Wink. Hahn has served as one of the driving creative forces at Fame House, which focuses on direct to consumer strategies, digital development, advertising and marketing for the music and entertainment industries.

Fame House helps artists, entertainers, and brands manage their digital presence, reach new audiences, and connect with fans through unique campaigns. Past projects include website design for rapper Ice Cube, Tumblr design and development for Maroon 5 and Pearl Jam, and a social engagement campaign for Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman. In 2013 the agency was inducted into a leading network of event producers, globally touring festivals and digital music communities. With offices in Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, and Berlin, Fame House now serves as the chief digital agency for companies like ID&T, Beatport, Disco Donnie Presents, Made Event and more.

Hahn was honored at the May 1st Drexel Alumni Association award ceremony. Music Industry Professor Ryan Schwabe, who nominated Hahn, said, “Eric Hahn and his business partner Mike Fiebach realized very early that the music industry was moving towards a 'direct to fan' digital marketplace. They quickly recognized the limitations of an independent artist working in a digital marketplace and built the infrastructure necessary for artists to succeed.”
