On October 14 the Architecture & Interiors department will host a presentation by Vincent Feldman, author of the photography book CITY ABANDONED: CHARTING THE LOSS OF CIVIC INSTITUTIONS IN PHILADELPHIA. An installment in the department’s Twilight Lecture Series, the free and open-to-the-public event will take place at 6:00pm in Room 265 of the URBN Center (3501 Market Street). Feldman’s photographs of great civic structures in Philadelphia serve as both beautiful documentary records as well as catalysts for the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned city architecture. Feldman will share his work and speak to his experience photographing an urban landscape.
