The Agency Group

April 30, 2014

Natalia Nastaskin, CEO of U.S. Operations for The Agency Group – the world’s leading independent talent booking agency – will give a free-to-the-public talk on May 13 at 6:00 pm in the URBN Annex Screening Room (3401 Filbert St.) hosted by the Music Industry Program.

A career-building, taste-making, artist development powerhouse, the Agency Group has a worldwide roster of artists from a full array of musical genres, including The Black Keys, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Avett Brothers, De La Soul, Rush, Wiz Khalifa and many more. They have represented or consulted for some of the most influential musicians of our time, including The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash and Michael Jackson. The Agency Group also represents talent in the literary, culinary and public speaking realms.

As one of the largest live booking agencies in the world, they specialize in identifying nascent talent and developing acts into global and sustainable successes. We’re proud to report that The Agency Group represents a handful of Drexel student bands including current students’ Modern Baseball and past students’ The Wonder Years.

As CEO of U.S. Operations and General Counsel to the company’s US offices, Natalia Nastaskin is responsible for corporate business development. During her talk she will share experiences about being an effective negotiator, power broker, and communicator.

“This is a fantastic chance for students to hear from someone who is currently in the field and represents an eclectic group of artists, and to learn volumes about what is really going on in the industry,” said Darren Walters, Music Industry Program Professor and manager of Drexel’s MAD Dragon Record Label.
