Film Screening and Talk with Director, Matt Tyrnauer

The Design & Merchandising program at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design presents a screening of Matt Tyrnauer films Valentino: The Last Emperor.  The documentary film tells the story of the last years of Valentino's celebrated career.  It details his life and explores the larger themes affecting the fashion business today.  A central component of the film is the unique relationship between Valentino and his business partner and companion of 50 years,Giancarlo Giammetti.

Tyrnauer is a special correspondent for Vanity Fair magazine and will spend the day at Drexel talking with both Design & Merchandising and Film & Video students.  The free event is Wednesday, October 17th at 6 pm in Disque Hall, Room 108 (32nd & Chestnut Sts.).
