Choral Program Performs Mozart's Final Masterpiece Accompanied by Professional Orchestra and Soloists

ChorusThe Department of Performing Arts Choral Program present Mozart's final masterpiece: Requiem, k.626. The Requiem concert is the biggest choral concert of the year for the Drexel Choral program and is highlighted by a professional vocal quartet and The Fairmount Chamber Orchestra.

Performing under conductor Dr. Steven Powell will be the Drexel University Chorus, four professional soloists, and the Fairmount Chamber Orchestra. Centered around the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble, the orchestra will accompany the chorus and a professional quartet comprised of soprano Penny Shumate, alto K. Rebecca Oehlers, tenor Paul Vetrano, and bass James Kirk.
