Drexel Players Present World Premiere of Ahab: A Musical Odyssey

The Department of Performing Arts opens their 2005-2006 season with the world premiere of Ahab: A Musical Odyssey. This original musical was created by composer and adjunct Professor Bud Noble. It is directed by Theater Program Director, Bill Pollock and choreographed by Melissa Rector. Set in the mid-nineteenth century whaling seaport of Boston, and inspired by the writings of Herman Melville, the show tells the formative life story of one of literature's most tragic heroes, Ahab, the mad captain of the Pequod.
The show opens Thursday, Nov 10th and runs through Sunday, Nov 20th. Tickets are $10 with discounts for students, senior citizens and Drexel alumni. For more information please call 215-895-ARTS.
