The Philadelphia Music Alliance, in partnership with Drexel University’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, will host a free Philadelphia Music Industry Career Summit—an interactive evening designed to equip college students and emerging music professionals with the insights, connections, and tools to navigate and thrive in the music industry with a specific focus on Philadelphia, at Drexel University URBN Annex Screening Room (3401 Filbert St.) on November 19 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.At this free event, the Philadelphia Music Alliance, the city’s leading music coalition dedicated to celebrating the significant contributions of Philadelphians across all music genres, will connect today’s aspiring industry students with producers, executives, artists, and advocates shaping the future of music while also providing tangible support. The evening begins with light refreshments and networking at 6 p.m., followed by a panel discussion, “Professionalizing Your Music Industry Journey – Life Advice from Experts in Artist Development” at 7 p.m. and additional networking and free professional head shots by Philadelphia music photographer Torri Green.
