Darryl "DMC" McDaniels Comic Book Signing

5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Darryl "DMC" McDaniels will be visiting the Pearlstein Gallery in concurrence with "Cey Adams, Departure: 40 Years of Art & Design". Starting at 5:30 pm, DMC will give a brief talk reflecting on his time on the Together Forever Tour, as well as his friendship with artist Cey Adams. From 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, he will be signing copies of his comic book. The first 100 people will receive a free copy of his book and an autograph. This program is being co-presented with Malika Love of The Hip Hop Library. In collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia, attendees can also enjoy live graffiti demonstrations by Philadelphia graffiti artists, Calo Rosa, Dan1 & Zeb. Philadelphia has deep roots in Graffiti and Hip-hop. Original Flavor, an exhibition that is also on view in the Pearlstein lobby, lifts up some of Philadelphia's many pioneering visual artists.
