Katie Broh, AIA, is a Partner at MGA Partners in Philadelphia, where she directs the firm’s work for academic, cultural, and performing arts organizations. Her expertise in advancing contemporary pedagogy—spanning learning environments, performance venues, and collaborative maker spaces—has led to innovative, highly regarded designs that foster experiential and community-centered campus cultures. Her portfolio includes projects for institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University, Indiana University, Northeastern University, the University of Delaware, the University of Michigan, The Shipley School, Central High School, and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.
Deeply engaged in Philadelphia’s cultural and educational landscape, Katie has held longstanding leadership roles with organizations dedicated to arts access for youth, including Musicopia and Dancing Classrooms Philly. She currently serves as President of AIA Philadelphia and co-chairs its Owners Roundtable, and has been an active board member within AIA at both the local and state levels. In academia, she has taught design studios and thesis at Drexel University’s Westphal College for over a decade and frequently presents at national conferences including SCUP, AIA, and NAIS. She also contributes to institutional stewardship through her role on the Facilities Committee at Germantown Friends School. A native of Michigan, Katie holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania.
