Kylie Wright has been working in the Fine Art Photography realm for more than 20 years. She is known globally as a master printer and retoucher and has worked with many prominent artists. She holds a BA from the University of Virginia, where she majored in Studio Art in 1988. She was a master printer at Laumont Photographics in NYC for 12 years, before becoming Gregory Crewdson’s in-house printer and retoucher. She has been teaching digital imaging since 2006; both in the Photography Department at the School of Visual Arts and at the International Center of Photography before joining Drexel. She currently works freelance for a number of artists while pursuing her own photographic vision.
Professor Wright seeks to impart to students a strong practical knowledge of emerging digital processes with the timeless skills of great image-making.
