Henry Vazquez is a 21-year veteran of the television industry. He currently serves as Creative Services Director for The Greater Philadelphia YMCA.
Henry began his career at WPIX – TV in New York City, his hometown. Later, he spent 13 years in Philadelphia with stops at WPVI, KYW and WCAU, where he served as Promotions Manager. From there, he moved to KLAS-TV in Las Vegas where he was Creative Services Director for 4 years. Missing the Northeast, he returned to Hartford, CT, serving as Vice President, Director of Brand & Digital at WTIC and WCCT, a duopoly.
As a student, Henry served as a Writers’ Guild of America West intern at Paramount Studios, working closely with the Executive Producers of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”.
Along the way, Henry earned 14 Emmys, Promax Gold & Silver Awards, and a CBS Eye on Excellence Award for his work. He’s also a recipient of 7 NBC Universal Ovation Awards for outstanding service to the company.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Lehman College of the City University of New York. He is a frequent guest lecturer at Temple University.
Henry and his wife, Joanna, reside in Drexel Hill, PA.
