Sandy Stewart joined Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design faculty after 15 years in the promotion department of TV Guide Magazine, and now considers teaching Graphic Design her main passion. She has served as the Program Director for Graphic Design, the Department Head for Media Arts, and is currently the Associate Dean for Academics.
She was a co owner and President of Concept 3 Design, an award –winning graphic design firm for 10 years, and she is currently an active freelancer. Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies and national magazines, and she has designed several lines of greeting cards for clients that include the Museum of Modern Art bookstore.
Sandy has won over 25 professional design awards and honors in her career, and the prestigious Allen Rothwarf Award for Excellence in Teaching from Drexel University. She is also the co-author of Graphic Design School, 5th Edition.
