Daniel Rose brings his decade of professional experience in a variety of industries and roles to the classroom at Drexel University.
Daniel started his career at Sony's Bend Studio, where he worked as an Environment Artist on the marquee launch title for Sony's PlayStation Vita handheld. Following his time at Sony, Daniel moved on to WB Games in Boston where he continued to work as an Environment Artist. Daniel would then transition to self-employment, working as a freelance artist for a variety of clients both in and out of games including the likes of Boss Key Productions, Motion Logic Studios, Psyop, and Vayner Media. His freelance work eventually led him to a contract with Bluepoint Games where he contributed to 2018's Shadow of The Colossus on PlayStation 4. Prior to joining the Digital Media Department at Drexel, Daniel brought his production experience to Dreamline where he spearheaded the use of Unreal Engine and Substance Suite software for product rendering.
Daniel has continued to be active in the games industry as a faculty member, working as an Art Director with GameTextures.com and an Art Lead with Digimancy Games.
Daniel's shipped games include Shadow of The Colossus (PS4), Lawbreakers: (PC/PS4), Arcade Artist (VIVE), Infinite Crisis (PC), Defiance (PC/360/PS3), DDO: Shadowfell Conspiracy (PC), Lord of The Rings Online (PC), Cypher Kids Club (iOS), and Uncharted: Golden Abyss (PSVita). His production work includes Decisions: a 360 VR Experience presented by DRINKiQ, SK-II: The Journey, and his work with Dreamline.
