Joel Rodriguez has over 15 years of experience working in full-time and consulting technology positions. Joel is the owner of CastBright, LLC, a technology company currently working in the areas of instructional design, website & systems development, and technology support for schools. Joel is the former Drexel University Online Associate Director of Emerging Technologies, where, over a period of twelve years, he managed the technology, instructional design, and development teams. Joel continues to work as an adjunct professor in Drexel’s School of Education and the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.
Joel serves as the main technology consultant for the CDC grant “Home Assessments for Patients and Families with Special Health Care Needs: Developing Tools, Communication Strategies, and Standards” with Dr. Renee Turchi. He is also a full-time instructional designer at PA College of Health Sciences in Lancaster where he works to improve innovation in online learning programs.
Joel graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a B.S. in Communications and an M.A. in Adult Education & Communications Technology. In 2017 he earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Drexel University.
