Chris Palo is Vice President of the Lifestyle and Entertainment Division at McClatchy Media Company, where he leads digital content strategy and operations across a dynamic portfolio of brands. In this role, Chris drives audience engagement and growth through innovative multiplatform content experiences that fuse storytelling with data-driven strategy.

Previously, Chris held executive roles at Dotdash Meredith, Time Inc, and a360media. Chris’s expertise lies at the intersection of creative, technology, and operations, with a focus on transformative change and sustainable innovation. Brands Chris has managed content for include PEOPLE, Us Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Martha Stewart Living, Allrecipes, and InStyle. Content produced by his teams can be experienced on most major networks and platforms including YouTube, Apple TV+, ABC, Amazon and others.

Across his career, Chris has championed the rapid evolution of content production and business models in emerging media environments. His early career includes producing and directing branded content and commercials for clients like Aflac, General Mills, and Waste Management.

Chris holds an MBA and an MS in Television Management from Drexel University, and an Executive Advanced Management Certificate from Columbia University. He is a dedicated educator and thought leader, having taught and spoken at institutions including Drexel University, Academy of Art University, National Association of Broadcasters, Rutgers University, and The American College.
