Sarina Miller teaches and develops art and design history courses with an emphasis on visual literacy and cultural context. Some of her current research interests include cinematic design and the cross-cultural artistic influences between Japan and the West from the mid-nineteenth to the mid-twentieth century. She is the author of A Brief Survey of Modern Design History and editor of Perspective: Selected Essays on Space in Art and Design. Sarina holds a master’s degree in art history from Temple University and currently serves as chairperson of the College Art Association’s Committee on Design.
