Marcello Luzi is a graduate of the Interior Design department of the Art Institute of Philadelphia following undergraduate study in Finance and Interior Design at Drexel University. He is an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University and Harcum College. He has lived in Italy and studied interior design and the history of architecture in France and Italy. He is certified under the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ); he also has helped write exam questions and acted as NCIDQ exam chairman. After serving as chapter treasurer and president for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Pennsylvania East Chapter, he was a national spokesman for ASID and has co-chaired its Industry Advisory Council and chaired its Small Business Council. Mr. Luzi has served on the advisory board of the Interior Design Department at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, on the board of the Interior Design Legislative Coalition of Pennsylvania and has also taught undergraduate and graduate course in Interior Design at Drexel University. He is an active shareholder of the Philadelphia Athenæum and works extensively with many charities, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, doing pro-bono design work and fundraising.
