Sarah K. Lippmann is an adjunct professor in the Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism at Drexel University, and in the Interior Design Department at the Pratt Institute. She teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses from design studio to thesis, and from Portfolio Development, to Colors Materials and Lighting. Originally trained as an actor, she received her BFA from NYU-Tisch School of the Arts, and shifted to design after working for many years in film, tv and theater. She received her MS in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute, and shortly thereafter began her own residential practice. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and Petula Clark, the dog. When not teaching or drafting, or occasionally still performing in a dark theater, you can usually find her on the water, sailing.
