Hyun-ah is an experienced fashion designer with over 25 years of diverse industry experience. She has worked in design, pattern making, and production for companies such as Robyn Meredith and Anne Klein New York Division at Jones New York. In 2006, she launched her own label, HannaleeDesign, which focuses on custom-made designs tailored to individual clients.
In addition to her design work, Hyun-ah discovered a passion for teaching and began sharing her knowledge with the next generation of fashion designers in 2018. She started teaching at Drexel University that year and now teaches at various schools in Philadelphia. As an adjunct instructor, she finds it rewarding to guide students in thinking creatively and embracing innovation while maintaining high craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Hyun-ah enjoys attending fashion events, exploring art galleries, staying up-to-date with emerging trends, and spending time with her family.
