Daryl Evans is the Director of Digital at Crown Media Family Networks, home of three linear networks, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama; subscription video on demand streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now; and e-book publishing division, Hallmark Publishing. He is based in Studio City and reports to Josie Ventura, Vice President of Digital/New Media.
In his role, Daryl oversees the Hallmark Movie Checklist App and is responsible for leading editorial and programming strategies for the app. He collaborates closely with teams across the company, including advertising sales, brand marketing, programming, design, on-air promotions, and distribution.
Before joining Crown Media, Daryl spent 7 years at WCAU NBC 10 News in Philadelphia. While there, Daryl worked as an assignment editor, tracking local and national stories. He later joined the station's creative team, managing special events and the NBC10 Street Team.
Daryl graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Rhetoric. He also earned a Master of Arts from Temple University, focused on Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media
