Peter Egan has been entertaining audiences of all ages for over 25 years. He started as a creative executive at Disney, then went on to become an Emmy-nominated children’s television writer, with hours of produced episodes of the beloved series Rugrats, The Wild Thornberries, and Arthur. He also did many episodes of the live action hits Sweet Valley High, Breaker High, and The Secret World of Alex Mack.
Peter has a unique and eclectic array of credits in prime time television. He has written and produced episodes of the critically-acclaimed Iraq war drama Over There (FX), ESPN’s controversial breakout hit Playmakers, and an enduring cult favorite in the Comic Con world, SyFy Channel’s The Dresden Files.
Peter is a graduate of Harvard University, where he was Captain of the Men’s Swimming Team and earned NCAA All-American honors in four different events. He is a father of two and also serves on the faculty at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television.
