A design thinker, innovator, change agent and educator for over 30 years, former D&M program director, Anne Cecil has expanded students' opportunities for inter-disciplinary course work, international study and online learning. A variety of projects with such organizations as the Corzo Center and the Enterprise Center provide community-based, experiential professional opportunities for student learning.
As a local, national and international speaker, Ms. Cecil addresses a variety of topics: Visual Merchandising & Store Design, Sustinable Creative Economies, Popular Culture, Online Learning and Technostress.
Entrepreneurial energy, exploratory nature and a thirst for knowledge keep Ms. Cecil abreast of macro and micro trends in the areas of Art, Design, Fashion and Lifestyle.
Ms. Cecil has returned to part-time teaching to pursue various entrepreneurial and creative endeavors including: ONO Made in the 191, a consultancy that works with Independent Makers, Manufacturers and Sellers to create and maintain sustainable business; Roxanne Lava, a made to order women's shoe company; Co-host Fashion Matters, a collaboration between Anne Cecil & Philadelphia personality Phillip Silverstone on Facebook Live.
