Jingyu Yan, born in China and raised partially in Japan, is a candidate for the dual MS/ MBA Masters of Science in Television Management program at Drexel University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Beijing, China. She developed her passion for the television industry from early childhood and has always been wanted to be involved in content developing. Coming from a multicultural background, Jingyu wants to integrate her own experience into the industry and to pursue a career in programming and international content distribution. 

Prior to Drexel, Jingyu worked as production assistant and rating analyst for Beijing Media Network BTV Finance Channel, and participated in developing and producing the BTV special program for 2012 London Olympic Games. She also worked for New Oriental Education and Technology Group as a marketing assistant.
