The Lindy Center offers tools to faculty and students to prepare, support and promote community-based and engaged learning (CB-EL) courses and community-engaged projects. It does so through bi-annual faculty training workshops, individual consultations with faculty and/or students, connections to community partners, website highlights of CB-EL classes, student spaces for further reflection and learning, and undergraduate teaching assistants trained in CB-EL pedagogical, partnership, and reflective approaches. The Lindy Center and the Teaching and Learning Center often partner on resources and programs to provide support to faculty implementing pedagogies of engaged learning.
