Lubna Mian
Lubna Mian is a lawyer and administrator with deep expertise in higher education law and policy; diversity and inclusion, and general workforce issues; employment discrimination and civil rights, and nonprofit law and governance. She obtained a B.A. in English from Vassar College in 1994, and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1997. After law school, she was associated with three highly regarded firms in New York and Philadelphia, then spent 14 years as a university administrator. She is an adjunct professor of law at Penn Carey Law School, where she teaches a highly regarded course on higher education law and policy. She formerly supported the arts and culture portfolio at the University of Pennsylvania, and most recently has focused on inclusion in the arts, and the interplay between free speech and inclusion.
