Ann C. Yurcaba Appointed Interim University Librarian

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Ann C. Yurcaba will assume leadership of the Drexel University Libraries as Interim University Librarian, effective January 2, 2024.

Currently the executive director of the Drexel University Libraries, Ann leads the Libraries’ strategic operations, overseeing its facilities, finances, operational capacity and organizational development. She previously served as Director of Library Administrative Services for 10 years.

Prior to joining Drexel University in 2012, Ann was the senior director of member programs and services at Lyrasis, a nonprofit collaborative membership organization committed to the success of libraries and cultural heritage organizations. She served in several roles at Lyrasis and the organization’s predecessor PALINET, including chief program officer and interim executive director. Since receiving her MA in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she has also held positions in both public and academic libraries.
