    • Revised Academic Calendar Dates for Fall Quarter 2023

      March 30, 2023

      The Academic Calendar has been adjusted so that the Fall Quarter 2023 will now start on Tuesday, September 26. Several other academic calendar dates have also been adjusted, including the deadlines to resolve financial holds, add/drop and withdraw from courses. Term examinations will begin on Monday, December 11, as previously scheduled. Please view the Academic Quarter Calendar for the updated dates.

      In developing Drexel’s 2030 Strategic Plan, the Executive Planning Committee identified four primary focus areas for the University — Health, Technology/Engineering, Design and Social Sciences. Recognizing that these areas would require further refinement, the EPC defined among the Plan’s key initiatives the need to “develop transdisciplinary clusters at the intersections of these sectors to maximally leverage current strengths while generating new opportunities for transdisciplinary education, scholarship, collaboration with external partners, and entrepreneurial engagement.”

    • Waverly Street Foundation Grant Will Support Community-Based Climate Solutions

      The Environmental Collaboratory has received a Climate Hubs Learning Partner grant from the Waverly Street Foundation to support its work in community-based climate solutions. Building on Drexel’s strengths, the $2 million grant will fund resources to bring together faculty, professional staff, students and external partners to pursue transdisciplinary, community-driven solutions to environmental problems.
