Drexel Faculty Mentor: Evan Danziger
Waheed Rushdi is a junior, majoring in business at Lebow College of Business at Drexel, with a profound interest in international business management. Through the Gilman Scholarship, he will be able to study abroad at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, one of the oldest universities in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Drexel, he intends to promote study abroad programs and expose students to scholarship opportunities available to them. In addition, he desires to share his experiences with the application process and provide strategies for navigating other practical aspects of study abroad, including how to find various funding options. He is thankful to Kelly Weissberger, Lauren Steinberg, and Evan Danziger, whose phenomenal support was very valuable in achieving his goal.
