Through the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), a number of opportunities are available for doctoral students and beyond to assist with research in humanities and social science.
The SSRC’s varied fellowships and prizes share a core commitment to improving conditions for social science knowledge production worldwide. Programs engage themes ranging from global issues facing the United States and Japan to security in Africa and Latin America. Council fellowship programs are strategic—they target specific problems, promote individual and institutional change, and expand networks.
