National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program

The scholarship pays tuition, fees, other educational costs, and provides a living stipend in return for a commitment to work at least 2 years at an approved outpatient facility in a medically underserved community.

The scholarship can be awarded for as many as 4 years. With each year (or partial year) or support beyond the first year, the student agrees to provide one additional year of service, with a maximum of four years.

Applicants must be full-time students at an accredited school, pursuing a degree in:

- Medicine (MD or DO)
- Dentistry (DDS or DMD)
- Nurse Practitioner
- Certified nurse-midwife
- Physician assistant (in primary care)
