Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Young Scientists Awards

Lindau Awards support exceptional undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students and young postdoctoral scientists to attend the annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Germany each summer. Each year's Meeting is focused on a specific field, alternating between physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, as well as economic sciences every third year.

At the Meeting, Laureates and young scientists participate in lectures, discussions, and other activities to activate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience between participants.

Eligibility and selection criteria vary and are posted each year before the application opens. There are two application routes for the Lindau Meetings: a nomination by one of their Academic Partners or an Open Application through their website. If you are interested in applying, please visit the Lindau website to determine which application path to take. Open Applications are generally due earlier than Academic Partner nominations.

Participants must have an excellent academic track record, detailed letters of recommendation, and have not attended the Meeting before.
