The Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) program provides support to students pursuing a PhD in scientific or engineering disciplines with an emphasis in high-performance computing.
The program offers a yearly stipend, full tuition and fees at any accredited U.S. university, professional development funds, a 12-week practicum (research experience) at a DOE national laboratory, a rigorous program of study, and an annual program review. Funding is renewable for up to four years.
Graduating seniors, graduates with no more than a Bachelor's degree, first-year MS or PhD students, and enrolled MS degree students (provided that they plan full-time, uninterrupted study toward a PhD at a different academic institution or in a different academic department) are all eligible to apply.
