Alec Aversa, a PhD candidate in electrical engineering, received a 2024 DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Research Associateship Program (RAP) Journeyman Fellowship. Alec will continue his research at Drexel with Ioannis Savidis, PhD in the Integrated Circuits and Electronics (ICE) Design and Analysis Laboratory while also working with an ARL-RAP advisor. Congratulations, Alec!

Alec Aversa earned his BS in computer science and mathematics at Misericordia University, Dallas, PA. In 2021, Alec pursued his MS in computer engineering at Drexel University. He completed this degree during his first year of PhD research. Alec's current research involves 3-D heterogeneous integrated circuit security, electronic design automation for machine learning and AI, and hardware security for 3-D Network-on-Chip architectures.
