April 8, 2024
Spring Undergraduate Research Mini-Grants Awarded
We awarded 11 Undergraduate Research Mini-Grants to Drexel faculty-student pairs to support research projects during the Spring Term. Mini-grants of up to $2,000 each will fund necessary equipment, materials, and student pay.
The student and faculty recipients come from across the University, including the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Computing & Informatics, College of Engineering, College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Professions, LeBow College of Business, and Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.
Students funded by mini-grants will present their work at the 2024 Week of Undergraduate Excellence in Week 8 of the Spring Term.

Research Fellowship Supplement Program Funds Student Co-ops
Seven students participated in this year’s Research Fellowship Supplement Program (RFSP). This partnership between Undergraduate Research & Enrichment Programs and the Steinbright Career Development Center supports students pursuing summer research fellowship opportunities while fulfilling co-op requirements. RFSP funds either a full-time Spring Term or part-time Spring/Summer Term research co-op at Drexel.
Four of our RFSP participants were selected for DAAD Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) in Germany, and two received offers for competitive summer research programs in the US. We look forward to continuing to support Drexel students pursuing summer research opportunities!
