2013 Urdu Critical Language Scholarship Semi - Finalist

Yasin Khan (Public Health, MPH ’14) has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 2013 Urdu Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program. She hopes to use her Urdu language skills when working on gender based violence and women’s health. Yasin has been working on violence prevention for the last six years and also served in AmeriCorps’ City Year Louisiana.
She will find out in late February if she will be able to participate in the CLS program in Lucknow, India.
