We're proud to announce that Drexel University was selected as a Gilman Program 25th Anniversary Top Producing Institution in the Medium Colleges and Universities category. This honor recognizes the U.S. colleges and universities that have supported the most Gilman Scholars from 2001-2025.
The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides merit-based scholarships to talented American undergraduate students with high financial need to study or intern abroad for academic credit. Over 100 Drexel students have been Gilman Scholars over the course of the program.

Gilman International Scholarship," said Ian Zimmermann, Associate Director of Fellowships in the Pennoni Honors College. "The over 100 Drexel students and alumni who have been named Gilman Scholars have had their lives transformed by the opportunity to intern or study abroad."
