The Drexel News Blog published this article about Claudia Gutierrez, Alex Sevit (both Biomedical Engineering, BS/MS ‘15), and Kailey Kluge (International Area Studies, BA ‘15), three Honors students who are close friends and successfully applied for competitive fellowships.

Seven Drexel students were offered grants from the Fulbright US Student Program for study and research in 2013-14, the most in Drexel history. Huge congratulations to the students and their faculty mentors.

Josa Hanzlik (Biomedical Eng), Kevin Freedman (Chem Eng), Nicholas DiStasio (Biomedical Eng), and Claire (Martin) Witherel (Biomedical Eng‘12) received highly-competitive grants from the Whitaker International Program.

Kristy Jost (MSE) has received the Lindau Award to attend this year’s annual meeting of Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany.
