Drexel Alumni to Donate 15000 Pounds of Holiday Turkeys to West and North Philadelphia Families

What: West and North Philadelphia and South Jersey families will get to enjoy holiday turkey dinners, thanks to Drexel University’s 39th annual General Alumni Association Turkey Drive.Church and community groups will pull up to the sidewalk outside the University’s Paul Peck Alumni Center on Dec. 20 to load their trucks, cars and vans, choosing from 1,250 frozen birds.Students, alumni, faculty and staff will lend a hand in loading the vehicles with the 15,000 pounds of turkeys.
