Comcast Taps Drexel University to Offer Custom MBA Degree in Artificial Intelligence for Executive Leaders

New master's program equips executives to lead in an AI-driven world.

To meet the evolving demands of artificial intelligence in business, Comcast, a global media and technology company, has tapped Corporate and Executive Education (CEE) at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business to provide a fully customized MBA program in AI.

The 30-credit program was created by Drexel to help empower Comcast’s executives with the skills and tools to leverage AI in broad-ranging facets of business, from strategic planning to customer engagement, operational efficiency and workforce development.

Following  a rapid program-development period, the first cohort of 35 employees representing a range of disciplines across Comcast began their studies in September 2025. The second cohort started the program in August 2026.

The program includes residency-based in-person classes and online classes with a total of 16 newly-designed courses across five semesters to earn the new degree.

“This program is a remarkably intuitive and successful outcome based on the long-standing professional partnership between Comcast and Drexel,” said Vibhas Madan, PhD, dean and R. John Chapel Jr. Dean’s Chair of the LeBow College of Business. “I couldn’t be more pleased that we’re now collaborating to advance executive education that helps Comcast leaders harness AI for strategic innovation.”

Comcast is a trusted partner of Drexel, especially in the business and engineering fields. Comcast has offered co-op opportunities to Drexel students, partnered with LeBow and other colleges to offer certificate programs to employees and has served as a business advisor to the University.

“We are using AI to help manage our networks, improve customer experiences and accelerate how we operate as a business,” said William Strahan, EVP of Human Resources at Comcast. “As access to AI expands, the differentiator for success won't be the technology itself, but the people who use it most effectively and responsibly. Our partnership with Drexel is helping develop leaders who can leverage AI as both a technology and a management tool in ways that drive innovation, deliver value for customers and create a competitive advantage for the future.”
