For the first time in a long time, Drexel University held a university-wide commencement ceremony, encompassing all the schools and colleges. Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, was chosen as the location of this immense undertaking and it stepped up to the plate.
From the first time the graduates stepped on to the field to the impassioned speech by commencement speaker Donna Shalala, president of the Clinton Foundation and former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, it was a commencement to remember.
