Financial Fitness Series Back — In Two Parts
The saying goes, “Give the people what they want.”
In that spirit, A Healthier U and the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union are happy to oblige.
Responding to the desire of attendees at previous workshops who wanted more time, A Healthier U and Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union will host a two-part workshop called “Best Budgeting Practices” that will begin Sept. 30, at noon in the Sky View Room of MacAlister Hall.
The second part will be at the same time and place on Oct. 14.
Part one will focus on information about budgeting tools and strategies. After this event, participants will have time to begin attempting to create a budget using what they learned. Part two of “Best Budgeting Practices” will offer participants the opportunity to further solidify their personal budget and to receive feedback and support about best budgeting practices.
Later this year, another two-part workshop will be held in November and December, titled “Understanding Credit.” After that, there will be two one-part workshops, one in February on mortgages and one on retirement in May..
The Financial Fitness Series is open to all faculty, professional staff, and students.
