Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa-Headlined Fall Fest Approaches

It’s that time of year again, and Drexel’s Fall Fest is bringing two of the biggest names in hip-hop to campus.

Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa will co-headline this year’s Fall Fest, which will be held Saturday in Parking Lot F.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and Mr. Carmack and Stwo will open. Tickets for the concert will be $15 for students and $35 for guests.

The event was put together by the Dragon Concert Series committee, which features a healthy mix of Drexel student organizations including the Campus Activities Board (CAB), the Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA), the Drexel Traditions program, the DAC Pack, and the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC).

As excitement builds for the first major concert of the school year, some members of the committee told DrexelNow what they hoped to hear Saturday

“A Milli” by Lil Wayne

“I have been a die-hard Weezy fan since I was in middle school and I have seen him a number of times. But ‘A Milli’ is a song that, for me, never gets old, especially performed live. It reminds me why he is the best rapper alive and my favorite artist.” — Anthony Mattera, CAB member

“A** Drop” by Wiz Khalifa

“This song has a sick beat. It’s sure to get the crowd moving.” — Tauheed Baukman, SAFAC president
