About the Program

Each summer, the New York Fed employs a number of first-year law students as part of a 10-week program that typically begins in late May. Working within the Legal Function at the New York Fed places law students at the center of the financial world, offering an inside look at how policies, statutes, and regulations apply to the work of the nation’s central bank and to national and international markets and economies.

Webinar Details

The webinar on Thursday, November 20 at 4 PM ET will introduce the Summer Law Clerk Program to prospective applicants. You will hear from program coordinators, Federal Reserve colleagues, and former summer law clerks about:

  • The hiring process
  • Onboarding and assignments
  • Mentoring and professional development

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the presentation.
