Diverse Dialogues, Film Screening & Panel, "26.2 to Life: Inside the San Quentin Prison Marathon"

Thursday, April 3, 2025

5:00 PM-8:00 PM

On Thursday, April 3rd from 5–8 PM at Drexel Kline Law Building Room 140, The Petey Greene Program and the Drexel University National Lawyers Guild will host an exclusive screening of ESPN's 26.2 to Life. 26.2 to Life is a documentary that tells the story of three men sentenced to life at San Quentin who undertake the challenge of running a marathon around a crowded prison yard. Through their physical endurance, they embark on a deeper transformation, confronting their pasts and embracing the discipline, perseverance, and mental strength required to push forward. More than just a race, their journey highlights the profound connection between physical and mental health, the power of self-discipline, and the possibility of second chances. After the screening, there will be a discussion with formerly incarcerated panelists and 26.2 to Life filmmakers.
