The Fall 2012 issue of Ms. Magazine lists Professor Rose Corrigan’s upcoming book, “Up Against A Wall: Rape Reform and the Failure of Success,” as a Great Read for Fall 2012 (subscription required).
The book, to be released in January by New York University Press, explores the ways in which reforms designed to protect the rights of rape survivors have failed and in some instances backfired.
A law and society scholar, Corrigan holds a joint appointment with the law school and the Drexel University College of Arts & Sciences, where she is assistant professor of politics and director of Women’s Studies.
The brief review of her book appears in the 40th anniversary issue of Ms.
