An article in the Legal Intelligencer praised the school’s Pro-Bono program.

The article notes the contribution of the school’s pro-bono program students to the HIAS Pennsylvania Immigrant Youth Advocacy Project.  The article recognizes that students in the program have played an integral role in representing undocumented immigrant youths attempting to gain citizenship status.

The Earle Mack School of Law Pro Bono Service requirement reflects a commitment to the Philadelphia community and the unmet legal needs of its men, women and children. Under close supervision, students develop their legal skills and gain practical, hands-on, experience in a real work setting. This is a vital part of the school’s curriculum and demonstrates the faculty and administration’s commitment to the development of professionalism in its students.
