Sophie Bryan, a member of the law school’s adjunct faculty, leads a Top 10 list of young Philadelphia movers and shakers the Daily News published on Oct. 14.
Bryan, who is currently chief of staff to Philadelphia City Councilman Bill Green, was credited with leading a legal challenge to Mayor Michael Nutter’s plan to shutter city libraries in order to close a budget hole. The article notes that Bryan scored a victory, arguing in court that Nutter needed approval from City Council to pursue the plan.
