In an article highlighting prominent speakers at law school commencement ceremonies, The National Law Journal noted that Betty Anne Waters will appear at the school's upcoming graduation on May 19.
The Providence Journal also announced Water's appearance at the law school's commencement and noted that she will receive an honorary degree.
In 2001, Waters successfully overturned the murder conviction of her brother and enabled him to walk out of prison after 18.5 years.
